Mission Statement Pearl River Youth Football Association (PRYFA) is dedicated to becoming the premier youth tackle football and cheer program in St. Tammany Parish. PRYFA staff and volunteers will work hard on life principles that include RESPONSIBILITY, TEAMWORK, STRENGTH, FUNDAMENTALS, and FUN. We will work diligently to teach your child respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship as well as promoting the importance of academics and physical fitness through hard work and a structured team environment. Youth football is a valuable, character building activity that not only makes great football players- it makes great men. It teaches the teamwork, ethics, self-control, self-confidence, and communication skills that everyone needs. Studies show the impact of youth sports carries through high school into adult life. |
